Dan Aykroyd says Newfoundland is the most romantic place in the world

Want more info on this Vodka Dan is talking about on show.....

Me, Dan Aykroyd and Jennifer Kennedy at Bianca's Restaurant for our Christmas Party

As you know I live in St.John's Newfoundland, Canada. Most people when I travel to the USA or to Europe have no idea where it is...I often say it is close to where the Titanic went down and then they say..."ohhhh, must be cold". Haha, well sometimes it is, yes. However today it is sunny and 6 degrees celcius which is about 42 Fahrenheit and there is no snow at all.

As for the Crystal Head Vodka I have drank it many times and it is excellent. The Skull shaped bottle always gets attention, so much attention that Ontario has banned it from the liquor stores because they believe the bottle is scary....seriously ?

This is what Dan has posted on his website,

Crystal Head vodka is the pure pleasure choice for consumers who wish to treat themselves, step up, and enjoy a finer vodka. Our beverage consists of the proprietary mash and the deep glacial aquifer Newfoundland water – and that’s it!

Crystal Head vodka tastes like no other vodka in the world.

That is because there is no question as to the quality and high standards applied in the production of Crystal Head vodka. It is quadruple (not over) distilled at the government of the province of Newfoundland and Labrador distillery corporation in St. John's Newfoundland, Canada.

Our vodka is thrice filtered thrugh charcoal and then thrice filtered through Herkimer diamonds. (search Griffiss Air Force base, Rome, New York). Many common vodka producers add industrial oils in an attempt to attain satiny, velvety smoothness. This often results in an artificial, viscous mouth feel. There are zero additives in Crystal Head vodka – no glycol (an ingredient for engine anti-freeze); no citrus oil (used in its raw form as an insect exterminant); and no raw sugar (finely produced vodka does not need any sugar). Tasting notes remarked on a “vanilla, sweet flavor, dry, crisp, with a kick of heat off the finish,” making it simply unlike any other vodka.

I think that Dan has created a great product that can be a good topic of conversation.
What's your opinion on the skull head bottle ? Seriously does it creep you out ?
